Serragiumenta
24th August 2026
Castello di Serragiumenta is a 16th-century, family-run castle, winery, and agricultural estate located in Altomonte, Calabria, Italy.
It offers a rustic, but luxurious experience with 7 rooms, a farm-to-table restaurant (La Voliera), swimming pool, vineyard tours, and educational farm activities in a scenic hilltop setting.
Today, it operates as an estate producing wine, olive oil, and organic goods, with modern wine production starting in 2004, specialising in Calabrian vines.
Rosato in Bolle
Made from 100% Magliocco. It is produced using the Charmat method from vineyards 80 metres above sea level, in a hilly terrain.
An excellent aperitif wine. Ideal with risotto, vegetables, seafood, and fish dishes.
Tasting notes: Pink orange in colour, inviting and intriguing with an elegant pelage. Savoury onion skin nose that is appealing and interesting. Earthy, forest floor notes with a touch of spice and a hint of marmalade and saffron. Very rich on the palate, including toast, honey, forest floor, mineral with an onion skin overlay and a meaty note with orange rind flavour. Really long savoury finish. Fully mature. Drink now!
Silver Medal in the Winter Warmer category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2025.
